How many cakesicles can i make with Easy Candy?

One bag of Easy Candy makes about 8-10 cakesicles with our branded molds.

What types of products can I make with silicone molds?

There are so many products you can make using silicone molds, such as: Easy Candy™ coated treats, popsicles, cakes, cheesecakes, mousse, ice cream, chocolate and jello.

Why should I use a silicone mold vs. a plastic or metal mold?

Silicone molds are soft and flexible, making it easy to release your treats by pulling the mold away and pushing them out. You also do not have to use any type of cooking spray because silicone is inherently nonstick.

Do I need to prep my silicone mold before using it?

If you are using your cakesicle molds for the first time, insert your popsicle sticks into the slots before using to ensure the thin layer of silicone is fully pierced. Sometimes during production, the thin layer of silicone inside the slots will not

Do I need to use cooking spray or other types of oils/fats on my silicone molds to prevent sticking?

Silicone is a non-stick substance so you do not need to use cooking sprays. Prior to use, wipe the inside of the cavities with a damp, soft cloth to remove any dust particles. Fully dry the mold and then you are ready to go!

How do I prevent excess chocolate from forming around the edges of my mold?

After evenly swirling the melted candy around in each cavity, flip the mold over and pour excess candy out. You could also use a paint brush to brush the candy up the sides of the mold for precision. You can also run a large baking spatula over the t

How do I make the back of the mold smooth?

Don’t fill the mold cavities all the way to to the top. Finish filling slightly below the top of the cavity. Pour Easy Candy to cover the cavity and scrape off any excess with a spatula.

How can I tell if the Easy Candy™ is finished setting in the mold?

It is ready to take out of the mold once it is firm to the touch.

How do I make sure the candy surface is smooth and scuff free when I release it from the mold?

Make sure your mold is clean before using it. Any kind of scuffs or residue inside the mold will decrease the shine of the finished product. Clean the mold out with a little vodka (or grain alcohol) or hot soapy water first. Dry it completely before

How do I release my bakes from my mold without cracking?

Silicone is super flexible so use that to your advantage. Gently pull the sides of the mold away from your bakes and then push up the bottom of the mold to pop them out.
