Do I need to prep my silicone mold before using it?Updated 3 years ago

If you are using your cakesicle molds for the first time, insert your popsicle sticks into the slots before using to ensure the thin layer of silicone is fully pierced. Sometimes during production, the thin layer of silicone inside the slots will not be fully pierced. 

Then, clean the mold with hot soapy water and a soft cloth to remove any dust particles it accumulated during storage. You can also use alcohol or grain alcohol. Any kind of dust or residue inside the mold will decrease the shine of the finished product. Fully dry the mold and then you are ready to go!
